A Story of Russian Ballet

Russian photographer Vladimir Konovalov for several months followed young students at a ballet school for girls in the Moscow suburban town of Kotelniki.? 




"I wanted to show what girls go through at a ballet school, for example while rehearsing a fouetté turn," he said.? 





About the gallery he said: "This is a story about a girl who came to rehearsal, it starts with her standing at the door and ends with her going out on stage to perform."
