The British Council invites you to the 19th exhibition of British education, Study UK: Discover You

The exhibition will see UK universities presenting more than 30 lectures and workshops over two days. The seminars will examine a wide range of topics including how apply to universities in the UK, how to write a great personal statement, the requirements for entry into top universities, tips to pass through IELTS successfully, how to interpret university rankings and will also provide information about scholarships.

The workshops will also highlight the benefits of studying science in the UK, with specialists from top universities showcasing science and engineering courses and discussing graduate employment opportunities.

For those interested in professional education, the exhibition will also look at legal careers in the UK, the importance of language education and professional training in finance.

The University of the Arts London will also deliver a workshop on how to put together a top creative portfolio, especially for students interested in the arts.  A representative from Norwich University of the Arts will also be discussing creative art graduate employment opportunities.

In past years, one of the most popular parts of the exhibition has been the opportunity for visitors to speak directly with UK university alumni. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the UK student experience first-hand and find out how a UK education helps graduates kick-start a successful career.

The workshop programme will also introduce visitors to various scholarship opportunities. Representatives from the British Embassy will talk about Chevening – the UK Government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders and the only government scholarship that covers 100% of the cost of studying in the UK. Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the scholarship application requirements and Chevening participants will also be on hand to advise prospective applicants.

The British Council is delighted to be able to work with a wide-range of partners from the UK and Russia including: Hamleys, the oldest and largest toy shop in the world; LUSH, retailer of fresh, handmade cosmetics; Toni & Guy, the multi-award winning hairdressing brand; the “Moscow” bookshop and many others. Our partners have been able to put together goodies and gifts for visitors to the exhibition, including a special Hamleys Teddy Bear which will greet younger visitors!
