Moscow to host major oil and gas events on April 17–20, 2017

In April 2017, Moscow’s Expocentre Fairgrounds will host the National Oil and Gas Forum and the 17th edition of the Neftegaz International Exhibition for Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry.

Together, the forum and exhibition give impetus to the industry’s development. This co-location creates a platform to see and showcase the latest products and developments, meet both manufacturers and consumers, make and hear relevant reports, and attend important events.

The National Oil and Gas Forum will run on April 18–19, 2017. The organizers are the Russian Ministry of Energy, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia, Russian Gas Society, and Expocentre AO.

From 2013 through 2016, the National Oil and Gas Forum has featured more than 100 business related events with about 5,000 delegates and visitors, and 500 speakers. All these events were covered by more than 1,000 journalists of leading business and sectoral media.

Neftegaz 2017 is organized by Expocentre AO and Messe Düsseldorf GmbH (Germany).

In 2016 the exhibition welcomed 669 exhibitors from 30 countries and 20,730 professional visitors, including 7,300 CEOs and other top managers.

The events will cover prospects of technological development of the industry in the new economic environment, market infrastructure, competitive environment, innovations and energy efficiency, development of industry clusters and technoparks, machine building, import substitution, and international cooperation.

The National Oil and Gas Forum and Neftegaz will include participants representing the Russian government, relevant ministries, business expert communities and major mass media outlets.
