One person died and two were wounded after a quarrel broke out over the order of the tracks on the playlist in a Vladivostok karaoke bar, a news report said Monday.
The conflict flared up on Saturday between the bar's patrons who then decided to take their quarrel into the street, Ria Novosti reported.
Once outside, one of the victims was shot in the neck with an air gun and died, while the other two were wounded.
Police are currently searching for the shooter, who managed to escape the crime scene, the report said.
A criminal case has been opened on manslaughter charges punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
"Police determined that according to preliminary information the fight was caused by a quarrel between the bar's guests over the order in which their favorite songs were to be played in the karaoke bar," a police official said.
The second victim suffered a spinal injury while the third was wounded in his hip and shin, the official added.
The two men have been hospitalized, but their lives are not thought to be in danger.
