Most Russians Hold Positive Attitude Towards Soviet Symbols

Most Russians maintain a positive attitude towards symbols connected to the country's Soviet past, a survey conducted by Russia's state-run VTsIOM pollster survey shows. The data, which was collected from a poll of 1600 respondents across 130 regions of Russia, analyzed the country's views on political and ideological symbols, including the Soviet hammer and sickle and the logo of the United Nations.?
