Frenchman Found Dead in Suspected Murder

A French citizen identified in news reports as Regis Morvan, head of the tourism marketing firm RM Consultants Russia, was found dead of an apparent head wound in his downtown Moscow apartment on Monday. The Investigative Committee has begun a murder investigation.

Morvan, who is believed to have worked in Moscow for the past 15 years, was discovered in his home on Yauzskaya Ulitsa near the Taganskaya metro station by a business associate who had become concerned by his absence at work, local media reports said. The colleague got the building's concierge to open the door.
