Uralkali Hires Morozov

Uralkali, the country’s second-largest potash producer, said Monday that it hired former Norilsk Nickel chief executive Denis Morozov as president and CEO.

Uralkali’s board approved Morozov’s appointment Monday, the company said. Morozov, currently a board member of state trader United Grain Company, was ousted from his position as Norilsk CEO in July 2008 amid a shareholder dispute.
