LONDON — Chevron-led venture TengizChevroil said Friday that it was in contractual compliance with Kazakhstan, a day after authorities said they suspected it of pumping oil worth $1.4 billion in breach of agreed terms.
“TCO is in full compliance with its contractual agreements with the Republic of Kazakhstan,” a TCO spokeswoman said.
