Embassies?€™ Nuclear Officials

The Foreign Ministry said Saturday that it plans to staff embassies around the world with nuclear officials to win orders for Rosatom.

“Given our competitive advantage in civilian atomic energy, it would be reasonable to form an institute of Rosatom representatives in embassies in the countries where we have prospects for development in this sphere,” Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

There’s a global “renaissance” for the nuclear industry that Russia should use to gain market share, Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina said.
