Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov published a video on his Instagram on Monday overlaid with sniper rifle scope and depicting Russian opposition leaders.

“Kasyanov came to Strasbourg to get money for the Russian opposition,” Kadyrov's comment under the video read.

Mikhail Kasyanov, leader of the PARNAS political party and former prime minister appeared in the video with Vladimir Kara-Murza, PARNAS deputy head and Mikhail Khodorkovsky's ?€?Open Russia?€? project coordinator.

?€?I believe [this video] constitutes a direct threat to a state official,?€? Kasyanov told the Interfax news agency later on Monday.

He said he plans to consult a lawyer and will file a legal complaint against Kadyrov.

Earlier this month, Kadyrov verbally attacked members of the Russian political opposition, calling them ?€?jackals?€? and ?€?enemies of the people.?€?
