Swank Will Donate Money From Grozny Bash to Charity

U.S. actress Hilary Swank will donate the money she received for appearing in? front of? Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov at? last week's Grozny City Day celebrations to charity, her spokesperson said, media reported on Friday.

"She is donating her personal appearance fees from this event to various charitable organizations," her spokesperson said, TheWrap reported.

Swank and others who participated in the event — Belgian actor Jean-Claude van Damme, British singer Seal and? violinist Vanessa-Mae ?€” were accused by? human rights groups of? legitimizing the? rule of? Kadyrov, whom activists accuse of gross human rights violations.
