Putin's State of the Nation Address Booked In for Constitution Day

President Vladimir Putin will deliver his annual State of the Nation address to parliament on Constitution Day, Dec. 12, the Kremlin has announced.

Details of the topics that Putin will cover were not included in the statement on the Kremlin's website, but lawmakers earlier said that he is likely to discuss his economic development strategy, social issues, immigration, Eurasian integration, judicial reform and military affairs.

It will be the 10th time Putin has delivered the address to parliament, Lenta.ru reported.

Putin will follow up the address with his biggest news conference of the year, scheduled for Dec. 19.
