Moscow's Crazy Roads: Roadside Theft Caught on Camera

When the driver of a gray sedan noticed a parked car standing unguarded alongside a road in the Moscow region one recent August evening, his first thoughts were about the vehicle's contents.

And when he saw a laptop case within arm's reach, he decided to make the most of his fellow motorist's carelessness.

But as he trots back to his own car, laptop case in hand, an angry man — presumably the owner of the laptop case — charges after him, shouting "Stop!" and banging on the trunk as he tries to make his getaway.

The driver then relinquishes the laptop case by throwing it on the dusty road.

It was unclear whether the case ever contained a laptop in the first place.
