Georgian Prime Minster Bidzina Ivanishvili took part in the Russian breakfast Friday at the Davos forum, Interfax reported, citing Georgian media.
Wimm-Bill-Dann co-founder David Yakobashvili, who attended the breakfast, told journalists that Ivanishvili made a speech to Russian businessmen.
"He spoke about changes in Georgia and said the country is interested in Russian investment and is open for cooperation," Yakobashvili said.
The prime minister expressed satisfaction with how the new administration in Georgia is trying to build relations with Russia and noted that this policy will soon bring results.
"This, of course, will have an effect on the growth of economic relations between the two countries," Yakobashvili added.
Earlier in the week, Ivanishvili had his first meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
