Reconstructing Flight MH17

Subscribe to The Moscow Times

A reconstruction of the front part of the MH17 airplane was assembled over the past months at Gilze-Rijen, a Dutch air base.

The reconstruction has been a useful tool for specialists working on the investigation to verify effects of the impact and subsequent blast.

The Dutch Safety board compiled the report, published Tuesday, over the course of 15 months, with the assistance of specialists from seven countries.
