In the courtyard of research center Laboratoria Art and Science Space is a pigeon-shaped house where Moscow's pigeons can watch a movie.
The project, titled 'The Ministry of Truth of the Pigeons of the World,' began three years ago as an experiment conducted by artist Sergei Shutov and neurobiologist Konstantin Anokhin.
It studies how the birds react when they watch a pigeon horror movie starring the silhouettes of some of their natural enemies, such as eagles, hawks and falcons.
The Moscow Times went for a visit to Moscow's only pigeon cinema.
