Sky Aviation Gets SSJ-100

Indonesian company Sky Aviation received its first Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (SSJ-100) on Wednesday, United Aircraft Corporation said in a press release.

"The aircraft is the first of 12 SSJ100 aircraft ordered by the Indonesian carrier," it said.

"Southeast Asia is one of the most attractive markets for us," Andrei Kalinovsky, who was recently appointed president of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, is quoted as saying in the press release. " … Our state-of-the-art aircraft will offer new opportunities for Sky Aviation, giving its passengers the maximum comfort and an enjoyable way of travel."

Sky Aviation, based at the Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, was established in 2010 and operates scheduled and charter flights in Indonesia. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Sky Aviation signed a $380 million contract for 12 SSJ-100s in 2011.
