Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works, or MMK, said Wednesday that it had increased production of steel products 51 percent last month from a year earlier.
Magnitogorsk produced 912,000 metric tons of steel products in April, spokesman Yevgeny Kovtunov said. That equates to a 1.3 percent increase from March.
