Alfa Bank Plans 70% Growth

KRASNOYARSK ?€” Alfa Bank plans to increase its total number of individual clients by 70 percent to 10 million by 2015, the bank's main managing director, Alexei Marei, said Monday, Interfax reported.

The private lender plans to increase its number of individual clients largely by setting up the latest technologies, which will help the bank to reduce the time of transactions significantly.

"There was a period when our bank surpassed VTB in the number of on-demand deposits and ranked second in the country, only being exceeded by Sberbank," Marei said. "The number of individuals in Krasnoyarsk should double to 100,000 persons over three to four years."
