The budget deficit will be between 5 percent and 5.9 percent of gross domestic product this year, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said Wednesday.
The deficit will narrow to 4 percent of gross domestic product or less in 2011 and to 3 percent in 2012, Kudrin said. The shortfall will narrow again to 2 percent of GDP in 2013, he said.
