The Side by Side International LGBT Film Festival runs this weekend in Moscow, with feature films, documentaries and shorts from around the world, all presented in their original languages with Russian — and often English ?€” subtitles.
Almost all the films screenings are accompanied by discussions, Q & A with filmmakers and guest speakers. One not to miss: on Sunday at 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. there will be screenings of "Girls Lost," a feature film from Sweden in which three outcast teenage girls get a new perspective on high-school life when they are mysteriously transformed into boys.
The film's director and soundtrack composer will be on hand to answer questions.
The films are being shown in several venues around the city. For the full schedule and information about the films and guests, see? bok-o-bok.ru.
