Magnit, the country's second-largest supermarket chain, boosted net sales 25.4 percent in January year on year, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
The company increased sales to 15.6 billion rubles ($512 million) in January, up 25.4 percent from 12.3 billion rubles during the same period last year. The chain also opened 19 new stores in the period, increasing its selling space by 29 percent and bringing the total number of outlets to 3,257, the company said.
