Russians have submitted some three million questions for President Vladimir Putin's traditional marathon phone-in this Thursday. Now in its 14th year, the conference will be broadcast live by three major state TV channels: Rossia 1, Rossia 24 and Channel One. The channels have allocated at least three hours of air time for the conference, which lasted a little less than four hours last year. The call-in will also broadcast live on radio by Mayak, Vesti FM and Radio Russia.
As in previous years, invited studio guests and Russians throughout the country will be able to ask Putin questions in person or by telephone, email, instant messenger or video message. Questions were collected last week, with those considered to be 'the most interesting and relevant' chosen for live broadcast.
