Russia Blocks Websites Advising How to Give Bribes

Maxim Stulov / Vedomosti

Russian authorities are blocking several websites that offered advice about how to "safely" give and receive bribes through electronic fund transfers, the Interfax news agency reported Thursday.

The complaint came from authorities in Russia's far eastern city of Vladivostok who have requested that the sites be placed on a national blacklist, the report said.

A Vladivostok court has ruled that distributing such information is illegal, the report said.
