3,000 Rally on Pushkin Square
Rock musician Yury Shevchuk performing at the rally on Pushkin Square on Aug. 22. More than 3,000 people pressed into the square to denounce plans to cut down part of a centuries-old forest in Khimki. Many also assailed Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
