Sochi: A Year After the Olympics

Since Soviet times, the Russian city of Sochi has been one of the most popular spots for holiday-makers. With its hot summers, palm trees, numerous beaches and hotels, Sochi offers the pleasures of a southern resort, attracting inhabitants from northern megalopolises.

Last year, the city was spruced up for the Winter Olympics, creating new tourist attractions and making Sochi a pretty destination for winter holidays.
