Scenes From Dagestan

Despite having a more than 400-kilometer coastline on the Caspian Sea, Dagestan is an unlikely destination for tourists. Fears of violence and a lack of investment and maintenance tend to put off the holiday maker from considering Dagestan as a vacation spot.
