Scary 'Putinator' at Cologne Parade


Russia-themed floats were a popular sight as Germany staged its traditional Rose Monday carnival parades ahead of Lent.



In Cologne, President Vladimir Putin made an appearance as "Putinator" and could be seen trampling on other countries.



Carnival parades in other German cities also featured Russian motifs, among floats depicting the crisis in Greece, the threat of IS and the situation in Ukraine.
