Nashestviye Music Festival Rocks Tverskaya Oblast, but Leaves Injuries in its Wake

The Nashestviye music festival, which attracts hundreds of thousands of rock fans annually, was held this weekend in Zavidovo, in Tverskaya region.
Among the 50 performers featured in this year's program were the popular Russian groups Bi-2, Nochnye Snaipery, Surganova and the Orchestra. Latvian band Brainstorm was one of the festival's headliners.
As temperatures soared to 30 degrees Celsius on Saturday, nearly 1,000 Nashestvie-2015 spectators sought medical aid. Most of the victims suffered from the sunburns, Russian media reported over the weekend.
Nashestviye, one of Russia's largest open-air rock festivals, is organized by Nashe radio station. It has been held annually since 1999 in July.
