Moscow Metro Opens Doors of 200th Station

The Moscow Metro opened the doors of its 200th station — Salaryevo ?€” on Monday.



The new station is now the southernmost stop of the metro's Red Line.



"It is a huge event. The new station will serve a large district of New Moscow," Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said at the opening ceremony, RBC reported.



Salaryevo is the second metro station opened this year. The Rumyantsevo station ?€” also on the Red Line ?€” was opened earlier this year.
