2-Story Aeroexpress Train Launched in Moscow

A new two-story Aeroexpress train has been launched from Moscow's Belorussky Station at a ceremony attended Thursday by the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin.



The new train, which will transport passengers to and from the city's Sheremetyevo Airport, is part of an overhaul of the city's transportation network.



Moscow authorities are aiming to replace all current Aeroexpress trains within the next three to four years, increasing their capacity by about 35-50 percent.



There are three major airports in Moscow — Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo — all of which are linked to the city center by Aeroexpress trains.
