Since 2002 Congresses have become significant annual professional forums contributing to development of corporate governance in Russia, implementation of international standards into business practice of the Russian companies, as well as to improvement of Russian business status both nationally and internationally.
The main objective of Congresses is to consolidate professional community which primarily includes members of the National Register of Professional Corporate Directors, as well as to discus pressing issues of improving the role of corporate directors in governance of Russian companies. The community issues become particularly relevant because of the recent decisions of the RF President and the RF Government on engaging outside/independent directors in companies with state participation.
