STOP!!

Whilst visiting our new flat in Otradnoe, I decided to take the bus back to Babushkinskaya instead of the metro in order to save some time and trouble.  I knew that the 605 bus was the one I wanted. I jumped into the 605 Van, not wanting to wait for the bus, then it hit me, it was ok to take the van from Babushkinskaya to Otradnoe metro station, because the van stopped on its own accord at the metro station, going home though, I would need to ask the driver to stop near my flat. In a panic I dialed my wife and had her coaching me on how to say and pronounce Na Perihodit, perjalsta. As we approached my desired stop, I, With confidence and a bit non-chalantly boomed, "Na Perihodit, perjalsta" to no effect, I repeated my request faster and louder, no effect, Finally I yelled "Stop, Aqui, (spanish), Brakes applied, tires squeal, passengers all thrown forward, and as I stepped out of the van, in a more subdued voice i said "gracias". I am no longer afraid of the small Bus.
