BERLIN — German health care company Fresenius Medical Care says it is expanding its dialysis services business in Russia by acquiring a private clinic operator.
The company said Wednesday that it expects the purchase of dialysis clinic operator Krayevoi Nefrologichesky Center to add some $25 million to annual revenue.
Fresenius, which is listed on Germany’s DAX index of blue-chip stocks, said KNC’s purchase will strengthen its position in Russia, tripling its hospital capacity to almost 1,600 patients.
