Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is pleased to announce that Stephen Cozens has joined the firm as an international counsel in its Moscow office as a member of the firm’s energy and infrastructure group.

Mr. Cozens joins Debevoise from the Moscow office of CMS International, where he was a partner in its Energy, Projects and Construction Group, focusing primarily on natural resource related transactions and infrastructure/PPP projects. Prior to joining CMS International he worked for 10 years in the Global Projects Group at Linklaters in both Moscow and London where he specialized in project finance. Mr. Cozens has advised both sponsors and lenders on oil, gas and infrastructure transactions (including joint ventures, upstream development, pipelines, petrochemical plants, ports, roads, rail, waste, water and other social infrastructure).
He is recognized by Chambers Europe as one of the recommended lawyers for infrastructure/PPP projects in Russia.
