Protesters Demand Fair Elections In Russia's Far East

Hundreds of protesters have demanded a re-run of last weekend’s vote in the Far East Russian city of Ulan-Ude, where a pro-Kremlin candidate was elected mayor. Over the past week of protests, police have been filmed using force against demonstrators and several protesters have been detained.
