Severe storms and ensuing floods in Krasnodar region's Tuapse have left at least two dead and more injured. Residents of the town located north of Sochi on Russia's Black Sea coast posted pictures and videos of the devastation on social media.

Here's a look at the damage caused by the heavy rains:

Rainwater surged fiercely through the district, moving cars and vehicles in its path.

Water levels rose dangerously close to the railway track. Previous floods have flooded railway lines and delayed trains.

The floods caused massive damage to streets, vehicles, businesses and homes throughout the district.

Hundreds had to be evacuated while the floods continued to devastate the streets.

The strong winds and storms have yet to subside.

… we have a small favor to ask.
