Yakutia Airlines has sent one of its two Sukhoi Superjet 100 planes to be fixed at the Zhukovsky Flight Test Center in the Moscow region after discovering technical defects, Yakutia Airline spokeswoman Tatyana Samsonova told Interfax on Tuesday.
Yakutia Airlines received its first Superjet in December 2012 and the second one in January.
On Jan. 23, the company's first Sukhoi Superjet 100 made a flight from Yakutsk to Khabarovsk with 49 passengers on board.
In February, four Sukhoi Superjets operated by Aeroflot were grounded after defects were found in the chassis and wing flap systems.
Later the Federal Air Transportation Agency renewed the planes' flight worthiness certificates.
There are currently 179 Superjets on order. Aeroflot has contracted for 30 of the jets and so far received 10. Armavia and Yakutia Airline operate two Superjets each.
