The heat is back in Moscow and what better way to survive it than enjoying a cool breeze from the river in the Strelka courtyard or listening to great music in a well-conditioned concert hall? Here’s our selection of the most trending concerts this weekend.
Kirill Tolmatsky, also known as Detsl or Le Truk, will celebrate his birthday on Friday with a concert. A former child star, Detsl is still producing new music in his thirties. On last year's album, “Detsellion,” he experimented with dancehall, electronic beats and raps in English on some tracks. At his Friday concert Detsl will perform both his latest tracks and old classics

Obe Dve is an indie-pop band from Yekaterinburg, whose very successful debut album was followed by a long hiatus. Last year their long awaited second album was released to much critical acclaim. The band is fronted by Katya Pavlova, who is also a member of another successful band — OQJAV. Obe Dve’s music is mostly upbeat, with quirky lyrics and memorable tunes.

Nogu Svelo is remembered for their early 1990s hit HaruMamburu, written
in a made-up language. The band’s front man Max Pokrovsky has been
releasing new music both as a solo artist and as part of rock band Nogu
Svelo. Last year Nogu Svelo released “Eat My Heart,” their first album
in nine years.

British electronic musician Darren J. Cunningham — who plays under the moniker Actress — and the London Contemporary Orchestra
will perform on Saturday as part of Selector Live, a conference
organized the British Council devoted to music industry. This is only
the second time the two will perform together, the previous being a
special event at the Barbican Centre in London. The party will continue
into the early hours with The 2 Bears, a side project of Joe Goddard
from British act Hot Chip.
