MINSK — Belarus has taken measures to bar products manufactured by the Ukrainian confectionery company Roshen from entering Russian territory through the Belarussian section of the border of the Belarussian-Kazakh-Russian Customs Union territory, the Belarussian Health Ministry said in a statement, Reuters reported.
At the same time, specialists from state sanitary supervision bodies and institutions are collecting samples of these products to subject them to laboratory tests to determine their compliance with the Customs Union requirements, the statement said.
Tajikistan said Saturday that it had found no quality violations in confectionary products imported into the country by Roshen, Itar-Tass reported.
At the weekend tests were ongoing in Kazakhstan, Belarus and Moldavia.
