Russians showed the lowest satisfaction among their BRIC peers in a recent survey on the job environment.
In a poll conducted by Paris-based Ipsos for Reuters, 41 percent of Russians agreed with the statement that "overall, my current workplace is a psychologically safe and healthy environment to work in." That compared with 57 percent of respondents in India, 54 percent in China and 52 percent in Brazil. Thirty-six percent of Russians disagreed with the statement. That figure was 17 percent in India and Brazil and 15 percent in China.
The poll was conducted online between Dec. 6-19 last year among just over 500 Russians. Ipsos said an unweighted 500-person sample has a margin of error of 4.5 percent.
