Sverdlovsk Governor Alexander Misharin, who was seriously hurt in a car crash that killed another man, has been flown to Germany for further treatment, Interfax reported Monday.
Misharin was deemed fit enough to vote in Sunday's elections, but doctors did not allow police investigators to question him about the accident before he left, the report said.
The crash's causes are unclear.
