KIEV — Ukraine and Russia finished gas talks, having agreed on a new price for natural gas and other conditions, a source from the Ukrainian presidential administration told Ekonomicheskiye Izvestia newspaper, Interfax reported Tuesday.
"[The new contracts are due to be signed] roughly in late November to early December. Currently, the process of agreeing on technical details pertaining to the new agreements continues at the level of the governments and the companies — Naftogaz Ukrainy and Gazprom. When everything is ready, a date will be set for the meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian presidents who will countersign the documents," the source was quoted as saying.
Among the new conditions are a gas price in the region of $220-$230 per 1,000 cubic meters and payment for gas supplies and possible credit in rubles, the newspaper said.

A Message from The Moscow Times:
Dear readers,
We are facing unprecedented challenges. Russia's Prosecutor General's Office has designated The Moscow Times as an "undesirable" organization, criminalizing our work and putting our staff at risk of prosecution. This follows our earlier unjust labeling as a "foreign agent."
These actions are direct attempts to silence independent journalism in Russia. The authorities claim our work "discredits the decisions of the Russian leadership." We see things differently: we strive to provide accurate, unbiased reporting on Russia.
We, the journalists of The Moscow Times, refuse to be silenced. But to continue our work, we need your help.
Your support, no matter how small, makes a world of difference. If you can, please support us monthly starting from just $2. It's quick to set up, and every contribution makes a significant impact.
