Genetic tests have confirmed that the dead body found late April in a Moscow region forest is the one of Viktoria Teslyuk, the missing teenage daughter of senior LUKoil official Robert Teslyuk, RIA-Novosti said Thursday, citing the Investigative Committee.
Viktoria Teslyuk went missing after leaving her residency in a Moscow region luxury village in March. Her decomposed body, with traces of stabbing and beating but not sexual abuse, was found on the roadside a month later.
Investigators have not voiced any versions of the incident. Media speculated that it could have been a kidnapping for ransom, but the girl's parents were never approached with any demands.
