City authorities have permitted ultranationalists to stage a Russian March rally in the Lyublino suburb of southeastern Moscow on Unity Day on Nov. 4, activist Dmitry Dyomushkin said Tuesday, Interfax reported.
Dyomushkin, who headed the now-banned Slavic Union, said the event may see up to 10,000 participants — which would be about 12 times more than City Hall has sanctioned for an opposition rally on central Triumfalnaya Ploshchad on Sunday. The Nov. 4 rally will end with a concert, Dyomushkin said, without naming any performers.
The Migrants of the Russia Federation organization warned Moscow’s diasporas to be on alert on Nov. 4, Interfax said.
