Lights! Camera! Death to the Evil Dragon!

The Kremlin team struggling to find a new national idea for Russia is about to be upstaged. An outdoor extravaganza called ""Our Ancient Capital,"" in which Ivan the Fool takes on a giant fire-breathing dragon in a titanic fight to the death, is being billed as the most concise expression yet of what Russia is and what Russians should be proud of. Produced by world-famous Russian movie director Andrei Konchalovsky, the show is expected to fill Red Square with light, smoke, music and plenty of excitement next Friday, the first day of Moscow's three-day 850th anniversary bash. The production aims to ""tell, show and remind the world and the nation about the things that the Russian people are rightly proud of,"" said Konchalovsky, best known in the West for action dramas such as ""Runaway Train"" and ""Tango and Cash.
