Russia and the United States are likely to sign an agreement within the next two months to ease rules for the issue of three-year, multientry visas on both sides, U.S. Ambassador John Beyrle said Friday, Interfax reported.
The deal would also reduce charges for visas, Beyrle said, speaking on Ekho Moskvy radio.
He said Presidents Barack Obama and Dmitry Medvedev have ordered talks on softer visa rules to wrap up as soon as possible.
