Russia's Interior Ministry Offers Reward for Information on Simferopol Shooter

Andrey Mahonin / Vedomosti

Russia's Interior Ministry has offered a 500,000-ruble ($7,625) reward for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of opening fire at an ambulance depot in the Crimean city of Simferopol, killing three people.

Police are searching for local resident Bekir Nebiyev, 55, who is suspected of carrying out the attack, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Monday.

Nebiyev allegedly arrived at the depot on Saturday afternoon and opened fire on medics. The day after the attack, Crimea's police published a photo of Nebiyev and called on local residents to share any information about his possible whereabouts.
