Police Search for Suspects Following Gas Station Fight

Moscow police have declared a search operation in the city after a fight at a gas station in the west of the capital left several people injured, Russian media reports said.

Emergency services received a number of calls from witnesses reporting a fight at a gas station on Matveyevskaya street on Sunday evening, REN TV television reported.

A spokesperson for the city's police said that “several people” were injured, while an unidentified law enforcement officer put the number of injured at three, Interfax reported.

The fight involved knives and a non-lethal pistol, according to Russian media reports.

Two people were hospitalized, and one more declined medical care, Moscow's Moskva news portal reported, citing an unidentified police official.

Other alleged participants in the fight fled the scene, prompting police to put a search operation into effect, news reports said.? d
