Lion Cub Turns Up on Train

MOSCOW — A lion cub was found Tuesday evening on a train that had just arrived to Moscow from St. Petersburg, a transport police spokesman has said.

"A cage with a lion cub was found in one of the coupes [passenger cabins]," the spokesman said.

The cub is believed to be about two months old.

No documents permitting the transportation of the animal have been found.
